At Biloela Baptist, we believe God is calling us to Know Christ, Be the Church and Go to our community and the world with the love & message of Jesus.

Our Commission

Jesus said to his disciples in Matthew 28:18-20, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”

    SENIOR PASTOR

    John and Shauna moved to Biloela Baptist Church in April 2024 after 12 years of ministry at Coolum Beach Baptist Church. They were high school sweethearts and have been married for 37 years. John and Shauna have been blessed with 4 children (now all adults) and love spending time with their 6 grandchildren (with another on the way).

     John enjoys soccer, riding his bike, Lego, scrapbooking, walking soccer, and following the NQ Cowboys. He is passionate about preaching God’s Word and seeing people grow in their faith so they can live wholeheartedly for Christ. John values personal connection and believes strongly in prayer as the foundation of all ministry in the church. Shauna is a qualified mental health nurse and is passionate about connecting with people and journeying with them in their times of need. They love being a part of the Biloela community and are happy that God has called them here.

  • Daniel Gordon

    Associate Pastor

    Dan and Laura moved from Rockhampton to Biloela in 2019 to serve as Chaplains in the local schools. After serving as a Chappy in both Rockhampton and Biloela for eight years, Dan responded to a call on his life to become a Pastor. In pursuit of this calling, he enrolled in Bible College and is currently studying a Bachelor of Ministry at Morling College. At the beginning of 2022, Dan was appointed as Pastoral Intern at Biloela Baptist Church and at the end of 2024 was appointed as Associate Pastor. He is passionate about helping people deeply engage with the Bible and live a life that reflects their commitment to Jesus in every aspect of their lives.

    Dan and Laura have a daughter born in 2023 and a son born in 2024. They all enjoy trips to the beach, running and watching cricket. 

  • Jaz Dodd

    Office Administrator

    Jaz is a Biloela local and a long-term member of Biloela Baptist Church. Jaz is responsible for the day-to-day running of the office and account keeping.

    Jaz’s position is a hybrid of working in the office and from home, so the best contact for Jaz is by email admin@biloelabaptist.org.au.
